The Summer After: A New War

"I don't think it's going so good. I mean...Mioko really does know what button's to push. And she does puch them intill someone snaps. So how long do you think Nico will last? How long Alison?"

Another something snapping. "...It means that why should you be taunting me about my dad when your dad was the worst temper of them all?" He tried and pushed away Mioko's words from his head.
"Y-You sound like Jigsaw from SAW! Stop trying to get in m-my head!!" She shouted, then gasped and darted away from her spot.

"Nico, Nico, Nico. You really do have a temper don't you? You want to hit me...and hit me again. Just cause I made Daddy's little boy mad." Mioko just stands there laughing, swinging her sword around and around.
"Jigsaw? Reall? Cool. But like I was saying Nico will not be able to last long...not that long indeed. What will happen when he looses him temper? Huh...what will happen to Mioko and him if he looses his temper?"

Nico growled lightly, trying to keep his sanity in order.
Alison's eyes widened slightly. She remembered the last time Nico got really mad. "Oh no..." She whimpered quietly.

"Daddy's little boy is getting mad. Daddy's little boy is getting mad." it became a chant that she reapeated over and over and over again.
"You just thought about what would happen didn't you? Mioko and Nico well be a nice pice of side toast at breafast tomorrow. But not if you come out and fight. You can beat me take the flag and save them. But you have to come out."

"Ugh! You're just testing my patience Mioko!!"
"Oh dear gods..." She muttered, her stomach was churned and her legs felt like jello. "C-come out... and fight? T-To s-save t-them...?"

She just kept chanting and chanting.
"Yea come out. You have to come out to save them. Think about what will happen to your brother and Mioko? Think Alison think. What will happen?"

Something snapped again. He cursed silently under his breath.
Alison leaned against a tree, suddenly out of breath. "Live or Die... It's your choice." She whispered, closing her eyes.

Still chanting. Getting louder and louder each time.
"Alison make a choice fast...they don't have much time. Hurry Alison. Hurry!"

The grip on his sword tightened. "shut up... shutupshutupshutup!"
Something flared inside of Alison's stomach, something that made her blood boil. She yanked on her earring, letting it extend to her scythe. She then exited from the Shadow World, standing behind the tree she was just at.

Still chanting. And waiting for him to snap even though she knew she was going to get really hurt. Alison needed to get the flag.
"Ahh...hello Alison. I see you have made your choice."

His gripped tightened even more. "I'm not..." He muttered, staring at the ground infront of Mioko's feet.
Alison sucked in a breath, before scaling halfway up the tree and jumping off, swinging the scythe back in efforts to attack.

Still chanting not noticing what Nico was doing.
Easily blocked each swing. And not attacking yet.

"I'm not..." He repeated, then looked behind him, scanning the field.
"Ugh!" She flipped back, landed with semi-grace. "Y-You taunt me to g-go ahead and f-fight and just stand t-there!!"

The chanting getting louder and louder. And thats soon all anyone could hear.
"Who said I was just standing?" he came in with the lance and hit her scythe out of her hands and brought his forearm up to her neck.

Nico crammed his eyes shut. "shutup...shutupshutupshutUP!!!"
Alison blinked, taking a small step back, her grey eyes wide. "Wha- How--"

"And I'm the Daughter of Hades..." She smiled darkly before activating one of her items and disappearing again. She then jumped on his shoulders, whispering: "...what'd you expect?" She took of her Helm and ran toward the flag.
The ground beneath Nico started to crack and rumble as he kept his eyes shut, whispering "shutupshutupshutup."

Aero looked at the two, "What just happened?" she mumbled. Then she stood up and ran after Alison, her hands reached for a fake arrow.

Alison flipped back, cursing loudly. She dove for another shadow, yet again melting into it. I need a plan. They seem to have something up their sleeves each time I try to go for it. She looked at the two.
The earth all around Nico started going off with tremors as he clamped his hands over his ears, squeezing his eyes shut.

Then something popped into Alison's mind. "Oh." She smacked her forehead, and just walked straight over to the flag that was in the Shadow World and snatched it up, returning to the normal world. I'm... an idiot.

OOMM: *dies again* DON"T save me again! It's bad. Really bad. America.

"Na...just attack. Fight back, hurt me. Let it all go. Come on Nico. It won't be that bad. Just let it all go. Fight back. Hit me. Hurt me. Or is Hades little boy scared?"
