Hades

Hades, unlike the other gods, spent most of his time alone. The Lord of the underground almost preferred it that way. But every now and again he like to venture out, to see the world above him. That was today. Today was the day that will soon be know as Halloween, a time for Death to peek back in and that he did. The male ran his fingers through his hair as he stepped out of his kingdom and to the river Styx. Gentle black and blue smoke danced around him as he walked towards Charion, tossing his faith carrier a coin.

The main lands where in full swing, many families were cleaning and decorating their houses, busting out their finest robes and shoes. It was a day to party and enjoy in wine. Hades covered himself has a mid-aged male, one of middle class, more warrior than anything. He stepped into a near village, looking around for someone he might get some hospitality from, one he would bless later. As he looked up a nice older woman stepped up to him, she was singing an old song of the Trojan war. In her hand was some bread, with a wonderful fruit filling in it. She handed it to him, gripping his hand gently and stopping her song, "Evening Traveler! What brings you to our small villa?" She asked with a cheer in her voice.

"I came because I heard the music. My men and I have been traveling a long time, and were looking for somewhere to rest our tired bodies." Hades said, giving her a slight bow of his head to thank her for the food. The woman smiled even more as he spoke, "You happen to be in luck, it is the eve of Apokries, a day our was based around. If you and your men need a place to rest then simply find me tonight, I have enough space to house you." She said with a smile before she began to walk off, going back to her song. Hades smiled as he walked away, running his fingers through his hair once again. The town was lovely, even with the decorations and the business. He made his way around the villa, stopping at the square of the town, seeing two females standing among a group talking.

Acacia

Acacia was a warrior of a girl, in fact many people in her villa believed that her mother and father were blessed by Ares. She had the blackest of hair but the lightest eyes in the town, bronzed skin and toned muscles made the rest of her. Growing up like that was hard, but she made it work as she got older, growing into a fierce warrior like her father. And today was one of her favorite days of the year. She stood from her bed, stepping over to her window to look out it. Below her the sounds of sword fighting and grunting. She was the owner of a very large domas, and its only Domis. Her teal eyes stared down at her favorite fighter, seeing him pin another male to the ground. Her chain keeper cracked his whip, calling them all into line before her. "Morning Boys..." She called down.

"Morning Doma!" They called back looking up at her. She had plans for them tonight, but that would be later, for now she wanted to head into the Villa and see if Kora was going to be at the party. She turned from her window, going back inside to take a bath and get dressed. As the girl left she stopped at her statue of Ares, stepping up on the rocks around it, moving to be the same height. She placed a laurel of Acacia flowers around his head, before hoping down. "I feel a war coming, I pray you are there for us when it comes..." She said to the statue before taking off in a slight run to get down to the villa.

As Acacia came into town she spotted Kora, a smile filled her lips as she walked over to the girl, "Morning Kora, excited for tonight's festivities?" She asked the girl. Kora was Acacia's best friend, well, her only friend. Most people saw Acacia as their General of War. Since her father had past, she was the last warrior to step up and take charge. Her teal eyes caught the attention of a new comer looking at them. "Looks like someone has their eyes on you." She said looking to her friend.

Spoiler:

Kora

Persephone rose when the sun did- when the bright ray of lights carried by Apollo caressed her skin and the flowers rose in greeting- so did she. She preferred to go by Kora and she preferred to walk among mortals more then she cared to be in the presences of gods and goddesses. She slowly rose and looked out of the villa that she owned- the servants where already milling about and she knew that they needed no direction so she moved around the room getting dressed in light flowing white robes, her long hair hung down in perfect lose curls tied back with a lose band that had some curls falling loose, a gold cuff encircled her upper toned bicep on both arms. Her skin was a dusted bronze as if she was kissed by the sun. When she was dressed she headed down into the village that she had taken up residence in and went to the area of Earth that she heard signing in pain and let her magic spill lightly around her- causing flowers to bloom and men to notice the beauty that she exuded and then she felt her friends steps on the Earth and she reined the magic in as to not cause her friend to grow any suspicious thoughts about her identity. She turned and smiled brightly- "Good morning Acacia!" she paused as her friend asked about the festivities that were going to take place tonight, "Yes my friend I am- I've even decided to join in this year!" normally she would stay out of anything that may draw the attention of another god or goddess but for this she had an inkling that it would be important to go tonight. She was spacing off as she looked at the flowers that had bloomed because of her and then she heard Acacia's comment about the man and looked up the same brilliant smile on her lips- she looked at to where the man was standing and felt her stomach drop as she felt the instant attraction in his icy blue eyes and knew that her emerald green eyes reflected the same intense attraction. She gave a small nod of acknowledgement but still turned back to her friend, "He is exquisite but you know I don't indulge Acacia." she laughed lightly as she brushed it off.  "Oh we just must go to the market and get you into something suitable for the night!" she linked her arm with her friend and started slowly guiding her away from the newcomer.

Ares

He looked down at the young woman that was leading the village and cocked his head at her offering and the comment that she had made. He knew a war was coming- he felt it in the tides of men and drew strength from their petty wars, but he knew the one that was to come was going to either make or break the young woman that he had blessed and fallen in love with as the years had gone by. And he couldn't let her fall- with a sigh he came down from the clouds and landed in his human form in the village that she was in. And what was curious was that he felt the presence of another great god- he smelled the air and his gut tightened. Hades.
That would put a wrinkle in things- why was he here? What drew him to this village- to this time?
Ares looked around at the mortals moving around and caught sight of Acacia walking towards the market- the woman with her was Kora a mortal who was close with Acacia and while Ares appreciated her beauty she paled in comparison to the woman that he wanted. His eyes traveled her body with hunger and for a moment the thought of Hades was pushed from his mind until he heard Acacia's comment about a stranger looking at Kora and he turned and with a grin that showed his teeth he spotted Hades and the men that he had brought as cover.
While Hades looked like a warrior and he was- Ares was the God of War and his whole body exuded that power and control and it reflected in every aspect of him. He headed over to his Uncle.

Hades

Hades watched the females for a brief moment more before he sat at the fountain, relaxing for a moment before he noticed another walking over to him, one he was very familiar with. "And what do I owe this pleasure Nephew?" He asked, his icey blue eyes looked up to the other male as he approached. Hades, being the god of death and the underworld did come up here to relax, but then he was her. The Warrior Queen of this Villa. He much like the other gods could feel a war coming to the villa, one that would end in her death. Though the fates where ever changing of their mind. He looked away from Ares, watching as the females began to walk away. For now he would just relax and enjoy the merriment around him, hopefully Ares wouldn't put a stop on that.

The God looked around, the sun was still very high in the sky, yet they were almost done setting everything up, he stood slowly, "Let us walk." He said as he began to walk away from the other male, knowing the other would follow after him. The villa smelt wonderful, between the food and the acacia flowers in full bloom. He enjoyed it here, and for a brief moment he felt sad for the villa that would soon be destroyed.

Acacia

Acacia chuckled softly at her friend, a smile filled her lips when she heard that her friend would be joining in. "I am excited to see what you shall be doing." The girl said as she followed her friend towards the market, walking next to her. "Kora you should, that man looks like he is a perfect suitor." She said smiling as they entered the market. Acacia rolled her eyes at Kora when she made a comment about getting her something better to wear. "Kora what I am wearing suits me. It's easy to fight in, it's not to long.." She began to list a few things about her outfit she liked. But nonetheless she would give in and allow her friend to pick her out a nice dress.

After saying no to a few she finally agreed on one. It was a long flowing white dress, backless and high collared, with a long slit up the sides of the legs. Her sandals were gold instead of brown, her long hair was removed from its braid and brought into lose curls before she was dorned with a laurel made of acacia flowers. With the removal of her sleeves came her arm band tattoo, a mark of the trails she had been through, and the reminder of those around her that she would stop at nothing to keep her villa safe. She had to for her father. The dark haired girl stepped out from where she was changing and being dressed, looking to Kora. "Better?" She asked as she looked at the other.

Kora

"Loads better." Kora soared around the room with flowers flowing from her arms, in a deep red gown a deep v cut front coupled with being backless and hugging close to her body but still appearing to be lose and flowey to compare with the times. A white rose flower crown graced her long curly black hair, and she looked lightly flushed and with a soft glow. "We must go Acacia." while Kora knew of the danger that her friend face she like the other gods could not alter the course in anyway. And that was one of the reasons that she wanted the last of her friends days to matter. To count. And to be as peaceful as possible. Kora would be there until the end and then she would walk with her to the Underworld. Friends for life. This one and the next. She pushed down the thoughts and focused on the one fact that the Fates were constantly changing for all mortals based upon decisions they make, and Kora cast a quick prayer to all the gods, that she did make the right choices. "The fun awaits-" she did a little shake with her body while she laughed and danced around her friend to music that only Kora could hear. Her mind wandered back to the man from earlier- he seemed to be so familiar but she couldn't place that face- and oh what a face it had been.

Ares

He followed after his uncle giving some of the girls a wink or two as they walked- he enjoyed being amongst the humans when he could feel such rage brewing in the air. He took a deep breath and his face was light up with fierce glee. "Damn it's good to be down from that damn Mt." he said as he followed Hades down to the villa.

Hades

Hades rolled his eyes at his nephews comments, smiling as they walked into the festival. Many females began to gift them with flowers and laurels, of the finest flowers. "War is among us." He said to the God of War, looking at him from the side. "Before night falls I shall collect some souls." He said pausing at a musician that was playing a song for others to dance about to. He dropped some coin down before he turned to his nephew, "Would you care to tell me which side you will be on?" he asked.

Hades looked around the open area, eyes landing again on the two females that he saw earlier. He smiled a bit more and chuckled as he watched Kora dance around with her friend. He could feel a touch of magic around her, she was either blessed by a God, or was a nymph, that much was true, more so but that was to be found out later. He picked up a pomegranate cutting it open handing it to two small children that stood at his feet, eager eyes looking at the fruit, while his stayed on Kora.

Acacia

Acacia laughed softly as she followed her friend, dancing around with her a bit as well. Her black hair shifted like onyx in the sun. The girls were adorn with more flowers, and offered wine. Acacia would normally take some, but tonight she refused, feeling that it wasn't a good idea. Suddenly a little kid came running over to her, taking her hand, "Domina, Domina, is he one of your new warriors!" The boy called, pointing over to Ares. The crowd around them began to pause, and move so the two could see each other. Acacia stood straight, eyes looking up to see the male before her. Her hand moved up to push her hair from her face.

As her bright teal eyes landed on him she froze, unable to breath for a second. He was divine, beyond beauty in this world. Second to none of her God Ares, she stood straight, watching as the kid rushed over to Ares, pulling at his hand, wanting him to follow over to Acacia. "Please sir Warrior, you have to fight for the Domina, she needs you." Little did Ares or Acacia know the truth behind this boys words. Acacia smiled softly looking to Kora for a moment, giving her the /it can't be helped look/ "Thank you young warrior, but as everyone knows. The warriors need to defeat their Domina before they can fight." She could hear it now, Kora's voice filled her head. /You'll never catch a husband if you always challenge them to a duel./ That was the point. She stepped up to the male, seeing the fire that lit his eyes.

"So what do you say traveller, care to duel?"

Acacia bat her lashes gently, and raised her eyebrow at the male. This was the best part of the Festival, the ability to have a little fun and to show off. It wasn't often that Acacia got to fight someone. Most of the time when she went to train with her fighters they went easy. They were loyal to their Domina, and didn't want to hurt her. But that meant she never really got to train. Now here he was, a man built like a god, one she may be able to fight, if only for show.

Hades couldn't help but let out a laugh, in the blinkest of an eye he was behind her, stepping forward in the crowd. "I say give the people a show Nephew." He called out to Ares, moving to stand next to the girl who caught his attention before. He stood a little away from her as to not invade her space. He glanced back at her, bowing his head gently as a hello, before he looked up at the two, who were now being circled.

Ares

He had to stifle a smile laugh as the young warrior challenged him- not only could he not back down from a mere mortal, but once hades was involved all vets where off even knowing that he just was goading him into interfering which meant that he foresaw the same outcome as he did. And that just couldn’t be right.
The woman in front of him was bursting with life and fire.
“All the gods and goddess are you beautiful.” He slowly drew his sword and stepped forward with a gleeful glint in his eyes.

Kora

Her laugh was full of joy, of a hint of summer on the breeze and dressy flowers. At least that was what was brought to mind when one heard her laugh.
Her gift to gods and mortals since she laughed a lot and didn’t want it to become annoying.
She was dancing around when she skipped to a stop to watch the encounter between Acacia and...she felt the hint of heat and death on the breeze and she had to laugh again as she knew both Ares and Hades where here. She just didn’t know their human forms. “Incredible.” Fell softly from her full lips as she felt his eyes on her, she turned and gave him a sultry smile her eyes filled with joy and light, his where deep and blue and endless- but also so cold. Her breath hitched as she felt her attraction grow.

Hades

Hades looked to Kora, giving her a wicked smile back. Before moving his eyes back to the fight, at least for a moment. Once the fight started he turned his attention back to her, “You almost had me fooled. You’ve gotten better... Persephone.” He let her real name roll in the wind, knowing only she would hear him. He stepped a bit closer to her, allowing them to talk, but keep their eyes on Acacia and Ares. “Tragic night ahead of us.” A brief bit of sadness laced his words as he looked at the black haired beauty fight his nephew. “The fates are cruel...” he mumbles before he hissed and laughed with the crowd.

Acacia

Acacia smirked as she watched the male draw his sword. Acacia quickly braided her hair back, before grabbing a dagger to cut the slits in her dress up the rest of the way. With a snap of her fingers her spear was brought to her. She took it gracefully in her hand tucking her dagger in her belt. Acacia set her spear in front of her, whispering a soft prayer before looking up.

Something Acacia always had was speed, she was fast, some times faster then could be seen. Quickly she launched her spear at him, watching it whip past the male, impaling into a tree behind him. In the brief moment he looked away from her she was gone, dashing forward. She was ready for his first swing, evading it just enough to end up with only a flesh wound. She stepped behind him as he finished his swing, pressing her back against his slightly, booty bumping him hard enough to knock his balance. She twirled around, skirt flowing about, grabbing her spear from the tree. “I must say, your the first one to have ever landed a blow on me in the first move.” She chuckled.

Hades chuckled faintly as he looked up at the two, she was a good match for Ares, arrogant in her moves, but still cautious of how she moved about. Suddenly a sickly feeling filled his stomach, his eyes began to search the crowd. He could feel the man who brought him her. The man who was to kill Acacia.

Kora
She felt her stomach tighten as she realized that the man she felt attraction for was a god. And not just a god, one of the Gods. Hades. God of Death. God of the Underworld. One of the "big three". She stiffened and then looked deep into his eyes- and she saw the want. The intrigue as he looked at her and studied her. A slow smile graced her lips again as she started to gracefully move towards him.
She knew what this night would bring- and she knew that her friend would die. But she also knew she would walk with her to the Underworld- she would be there every step of the way. So she pushed past the sadness as she came to stand next to him, "Tis a sad night- but eternity awaits her." she turned and watched the fight- feeling her friends glee at the challenge that was facing her.
"Why are you in the mortal world m'lord?" she asked softly, "Not just for her I hope?"

Ares

He felt the presence of another god- and he flicked his eyes to Hades and saw Acacia's friend with his Uncle and felt the warmth of spring flow from her- and he wondered why he never noticed that the woman was the Goddess of Spring and fertility. He grinned as he turned back to the fight- launching into the next attack.
Had he been focused more on what was about to happen he would have sensed the same thing that Hades had- the man that was stalking the woman he loved. The one that was intent on killing her even if it meant his own death.
And that was what was going to happen.
He would die for the transgression of killing Acacia- it just wouldn't be at the hands of Ares.
No...it would come from the hand of spring.
And it would shock the two male gods that knew her.
"Come on beautiful- I know more fight lies inside of you then what you are showing me." he grinned as he stepped away from a blow she had meant to land on him.

Hades

Hades looked down at the female that stood next to him, her question brought a soft laugh to his lips, eyes watched her like ice. If only she knew what the gods planned. For a moment he looked up at Acacia, seeing the smile that lit up on her face as she fought with his nephew. "There is much I came here to do, these kind people are about to lose someone they love very much. One we Gods also favor..." He paused, it was days like this that Hades hated being who he was, Acacia had much ahead of her, had the fates been kinder she would have been known as a Goddess of the Battle field. War was in the air, one the Gods knew would change the people in this villa forever, and one that would change two of the gods here now. While Gods were not allowed to interfere with man, all rules stopped when man or in this case woman, died. His eyes flashed for a moment, causing him to fully look away from Kora. Now... it was happening now. Hades turned to Kora, knowing her love for the girl that stood tall and jested with Ares. He tossed his cape up covering the scene before them.

Time seemed to slow down around them, the sound of gasps and screams filled around them. Hades gently grabbed Kora, pulling her into a soft embrace, just for a moment. "Fair Goddess of spring, I am so sorry..." He whispered to her, knowing the second his cape fell back to its place she would see her friend fall...

Acacia

Acacia laughed and smiled as her and Ares fought, they matched each other move for move. They locked each other together, feet locked together as Ares had her trapped for a moment. As Acacia broke free from his hold she twirled around and away. The teal eyes beauty never saw what was about to happen coming, neither did anyone near her. Acacia come to a stop from her spin, opening her arms for the crowd to cheer, thats when he took his chance. Quickly the male lined up his shot, launching his spear forward at the dark haired girl, watching it rip threw Acacia, pinning her to the ground.

A scream ripped through the crowd, many stood there in shook as they watched their leader stand their impaled, only standing because of the spear. Acacia had never felt such pain in her life, she could feel the blood filling her mouth, her ability to stand faded quickly. Her body fell back, ripping the spear through her more as she hit the ground on her back, the spear stayed rested in her chest. Around her, many warriors were caught in a new battle, her villa was under attack, but she couldn't stand. She lay there, tears filled her eyes, blood dripped out of her mouth. Soft sobs left her body, as she looked up to the gods, "P-Please... Prot.. Polis..." Even with her last breath all she cared for was her villa and her people. Her teal eyes looked over as she saw Kora suddenly at her side. But this time she looked different. Kora was glowing, the scent of fresh spring filled her lips, Persephone... After all this time her best friend was a Goddess. Acacia looked up at her, "Please...." She cried, "Please protect Polis...." She coughed out. She was fading quickly.

Bacchus

Bacchus had removed himself from the crowd once he had killed Acacia, allowing his warriors to finish off the rest of the villa. "She has learned her lesson." he said with an evil smirk as he walked away. His death would be soon, little did he want to remember. Years ago he went to the Oracle of Delphi, where she told him, his vision of warrior on Acacia would end in his death. Bacchus was an idiot. The older male thought that killing her like this would save his life, but really, this is what the Oracle saw. He would fall soon, by the hand of a god...

Kora

Kora's mouth fell open on a soft cry as she realized that he was stopping her from interfering from protecting Acacia. Tears already streamed down her face as she heard the screams- the cries of pain- she felt her friends blood soak into the earth below her. And she felt such rage. When the cape fell she rushed to her friend. Her disguise falling off and her Goddess form emerged. The deep red dress she wore turned pure white- her hair exploded in length and fell to the floor, a small thin tiara sat upon her head. And her eyes turned a deep shade of emerald and a soft glow emanated from her. And the smell of spring filled the air in the villa. "Please...please protect Polis." she heard her friend beg- and again a soft cry fell from her lips. Of course this human- in her last moments begged for protection. Begged for her citizens to be protected. Kora marveled at the human as the battle raged on around her- she didn't question why none of the mortals attempted to attack her- because she knew Hades was protecting her- but what he didn't know was that the humans needed protecting from her.
"As you wish my friend..." light blasted out and she raised herself to her feet and then she was raised into the air. Her eyes went pure white and she searched the warriors for the one they called Bacchus.
"You dare to break the sanctuary of this villa Bacchus. You dare to kill one favored by the Gods.
You dare?" her voice blasted out and mortals fell to their knees, swords and spears dropped to the ground as they covered their ears and watched in fear.
They knew the wrath of the gods.
But Bacchus did not. He had dared- and ignored warning after warning. And ignored the Oracle of Delphi.
He thought he was above the gods.
The Earth in the Villa shook as plants sprang to life- vines reached out to Bacchus and curled around his legs, bringing him to his knees. They curled up around his arms and then dug deep into the ground forcing him to be staring up at the wrathful Goddess.
"Yes...I dare. And who are you too care?" he spat out as his men attempted to cut the vines away from him as Kora floated near- the closer she got the tighter the vines wrapped around his body, one started to curl around his neck, loose so he didn't notice the creeping vine that was fashioning a noose around his neck.
"I am a God. This Villa had my blessing- this woman- had my blessing and that of Ares. The Oracle warned you that this day would come. She told you that you would fall at the hands of Spring." her feet touched down on the ground again right in front of the warrior. Her hand reached out gracefully to tip his chin up to force him to look at her.
Her face showed the true strength that the Gods carried. And was terrifying for mortals. She watched fear creep into his eyes and her face showed satisfaction- that was the last thing he saw as the vine around his neck tightened to a sickening level, his neck cracked as it was broke swiftly.
The Earth still shook as she let the body fall to the ground with a soft thump and then she turned to his followers. Her eyes still pure white- she spoke again.
"Run cowards. Before I kill you all." her vines captured all the fallen swords and drew them deep into the earth so that none could be pick up again.
And as they ran she went back to her fallen friend, the blinding light fading from her body and from her eyes to be replaced by the soft glow she normally carried.
"Oh dear Acacia- your prayer was answered- but work is still yet to be done for you." she said softly as she looked at Hades- tears still streaming down her face.
"Take me...take me instead. That's why you came...for me not for her."

Ares

His mouth had fallen open as he had seen the spear impale Acacia. He rushed forward- launching into battle with a war cry.
He knew she was meant to die- but that didn't mean that he couldn't kill some of the mortals that had dared to enter the villa under the leadership of Bacchus- he wanted his blood staining his hands.
He wanted him to writhe in pain.
And Ares would get what he wanted.
Mortals fell as he attacked them with deadly accuracy. His true form coming out- and his armor appearing on his body.
And then he saw as they dropped their swords and covered their ears- their screams of pain.
He swung his head around and watched as Persephone emerged.
He could feel her anger and he fed off of it.
He could taste her need for blood- and he cheered her on with another war cry.
Ares watched as she corned Bacchus down.
Killed him only when she saw the fear and the realization that he had made a fatal mistake.
He also noticed that the man had made a mess of himself in his fear- and then he heard the sickening snap of a neck breaking.
And he had to admit he adored the small goddess.
And it gave him some satisfaction that Acacia had made a true friend who was willing to avenge her.
And then as the mortals fled screaming in fear- he watched as she went to her fallen friend and he heard her give herself up to Hades in Acacia's place.
He approached- blood dripping from his sword and his body.
He waited to hear Hades answer- was this really why his Uncle was here?
For Spring?

Hades

Hades watched as everything went down. He watched as the Goddess of Spring came out in full force, and watched as his nephew took off in an all out rage, so she was the reason why he was here. A faint chuckle left his lips as he stepped over to Acacia, looking down at her body. Her teal eyes stared up at him, blood slipped down her cheeks as she lay there, lifeless. He knelt down, closing her eyes before he went to summon a carrier to take her to the afterlife. That's when he heard it. Heard her ask to take Acacia's place. Hades turned with a slight fury reaching forth to grab the girl by her throat. "You insult me." He growled as he lifted the lesser Goddess slightly off her feet. His touch was like pure ice against her warm skin. Hades sighed and set her down, turning to look at Acacia. "Its not up to me. Zeus?" He asked as he looked over at a male that hadn't moved from his hiding spot this whole time.

The God among Gods, all mighty Zeus. The high god stepped out from his hiding place, cracking open a pomegranate as he did so. "Persephone, You are a god, she is a mortal, a blessed one at that. If you truly wish to take her place then I will allow it. But you shall not bless another mortal." His words were strong and direct. Zeus would allow it this one time. He turned to look at Hades. "Bacchus and his leader are a problem, raise her from the dead, and I shall give her what she wants." He paused, tossing the Pomegranate to Persephone, before he looked to Ares. "hmm.." He hummed before he followed Hades over to the girl.

As they stepped over to her the old woman from earlier ran over to Hades, knowing they were Gods now. She looked at the four Gods that stood before her, and with a quiver she bent down on her knees. "Please my Gods and Goddess, please don't take her away from us yet. Not someone as loyal to you as her." Hades smiled at her, reassuring her before he and Zeus did want they needed to do.

Acacia

Acacia coughed out the last bit of blood she could, her strength fading fast as she laid there. She couldn't move, all she could do was stand there at look at the destruction of her villa. Suddenly Hades was before her, then her eyes were closed. But for some reason she wasn't in the underworld, or at the river styx. She no longer felt cold, in fact she still felt the warmth Kora brought to her. She could hear the others talking around her, but she couldn't make out what was being said. She felt stuck, and then suddenly she wasn't.

Her hand reached up, as Hades put her soul back in her body. She wrapped her hands around the spear and pulled it from her body before she stood from the ground, launching the spear into a near by tree. "That BASTARD!" a roar left her lips as she tried to stand, wavering slightly as she did. She was mad, upset, sad, scared. So many emotions filled her. Coming back from the dead was no joking matter. Once she gained her balance she turned to look at the Gods that stood before her, eyes glared at all of them. "Where is he?" She asked, looking to Kora the most, knowing her best friend would know better than anyone. "I am going to cut his head from his body and give it to his General. Polis will not forget this."

War, that's all she wanted in this moment, was to wage a war of the get Roman warrior king, and Bacchus' leader. And with the gods grace, she would have it.

Kora

He moved with deadly accuracy- the chill in his eyes scared her. But yet she knew it to be true- knew that he had come for her and not for the mortal.
She knew because it had been foretold.
Mortals were not the only ones to visit the Oracle of Delphi.
He gripped her throat and picked her up with ease. "You insult me." it burned into her brain- into her heart.
And she remembered the whispered words that were uttered in the temple that fateful night.
The love you seek is wrapped in death- he is cold and hard and he will hurt you before he sees his mistake.
But it is fate that you the one of spring- will conquer the King of the Dead with your love.

"It...is...fate." she mumbled as she gripped the hand wrapped around her throat- she looked at his deep ice blue eyes, her breath coming in short gasps before he dropped her to the ground.
She gulped in the air as she lay crumpled on the ground- and she watched Zeus step out of the shadows.
He studied her and she studied him.
"Father..." she never took his eyes away from his- her determination shown through. And she was vindicated when the Pomegranate was tossed at her. She also knew that while she wouldn't be able to bless mortals for a few decades she would be able to again. Her father loved her- and her mother would have a say as well.
Before she tasted the fruit of the Underworld and sealing her fate she crawled over to Acacia as her soul was brought back- bringing forth light and warmth for her friend.
Once again the smell of spring and fresh flowers filled the air covering the smell of the blood that had soaked into the earth.
Acacia burst up and looked around wildly for her enemies- "Bacchus is dead- I slayed him- but your work is far from done my friend. And I am so so very sorry- but I won't be able to help any longer. I-" she looked at Hades and felt the pain renew You insult me, "I took your place Acacia... I have to go to the Underworld with Hades." she gripped the Pomegranate in her hand her nails biting into the skin causing some juice to spill forth. She turned to Ares and she saw the admiration shine through and she was thankful that at least one of the Gods still had favor for her. "Ares is bound to your fate as much as your are bound to his- the war you so badly want is coming Acacia- be prepared." she gave her friend a tight hug and then took a deep bite of the Pomegranate and she was gone.
Taken to the Underworld.

Ares

Ares saw the Goddess pain at Hades action and he felt anger surge up in her defense but he tampered it down.
His father was here- his Uncle was here.
This only meant that the Gods had a vested interest in the war that was going to take place.
And that also meant that he would get to feed off of their anger as well as the mortals.
He placed the tip of his sword into the earth as he watched Acacia's soul enter her body again- watched as the fire he so enjoyed was lit again.
His heart settled into place as he watched the mortal he craved spring back to life.
He let the woman have their moment.
And when Kora was gone he stepped forward and bowed deeply to Acacia.
"The Goddess has sacrificed much for you- and I intend to make sure that you are worthy of the fight to come. I am Ares...that is Hades, and Zeus. The warrior who slayed you was killed by Kora," he paused and then corrected himself, "Persephone, but their is a much greater threat on the horizon are you willing to train with me and learn what is needed to win?" he asked. Fire shown deep within his eyes.
He spoke to her as a warrior- but he would also soon speak to her as a woman, and god he was looking forward to it. He grinned as he thought of taking the wild warrior to his bed.

Hades

Hades watched as Persephone disappeared to the underworld, he exhaled deeply before he looked to Zeus, "I hope you know what you are doing Brother." He said before he looked to Acacia. Her teal eyes stared at him with fire, he stepped over to her only to feel her slap him across the face. The God turned and looked back at her, ready to kill her where she stood. "You better protect her Hades! So Gods help me, or I will come down there and beat you up... With respect." Hades couldn't help but let out a soft laugh. "Good luck with this one Nephew." He said before and Zeus were both gone, down to where Kora waited. Zeus stepped over to Kora, gently placing his hand to her cheek, pulling her in so he could kiss her forehead. "This mortal better be worth it. There is no going back once you step on that boat. Don't make this a choice you will regret my love." He said softly before he turned to Hades. "In a weeks time we shall all meet on Olympus to watch the great war that is coming. Choose your side now..." And then he was gone.

Heads looked to Kora, holding his hand out to her to help her on the Boat so Charion could take them across the river styx. "I'm sorry for earlier. My temper gets the best of me." He said almost bluntly. He would need to watch how he spoke to her, she was going to be here a while. "Please make yourself comfortable once we get there, you're welcome to change anything other then the library." He said as he helped her on the boat.

Acacia

The teal eyed girl watched as they all left, leaving only Ares standing before her. Part of her wanted to faint, the war God himself stood before her. For the briefest moment she bit her lip, he spoke of training. "I'll agree to your training with one condition." She said, reaching forward to pull his sword from the ground before she leaned down to her knees to bow before him, his sword laid flat in her hands. "I ask that you train me an my warriors. I will not leave Polis with out someone to protect them." She said before looking up at him. "And besides, it'll be I to teach you a few things." She responded with a smirk before she stood up, raising a brow at him.

The villa calmed down, Bacchus' body was brought to her temple one that had been made for the gods. It had been a few hours since she had come back to life and meet the man of her dreams. But she was still wrapped in her bloody rags. The Old woman from before stepped over to her, placing her hands on her shoulders. "Come now my dear, lets get you cleaned up before anything else." Acacia just stood there for a few more minutes, eyes looking right at Kora... Persephone. After all these years her best friend was a Goddess. She couldn't help but almost double over in laughter. "I can't believe I never saw it!" She laughed as she walked to her Domus to bath and get changed.

As Acacia lay in the hot water she looked over at the maid would was washing her hair. "How could she not tell me that I was gonna meet him! Him! The God of War himself, a man I have dreamt about for YEARS!" Acacia cooed about before she stood up out of the bath, her skin no longer smelt of iron and blood, now it smelt of Acacia Flowers. "I mean, i know that they aren't allow to tell us the future BUT THAT! She could have told me that." Acacia said before she grabbed her slip dress and tossed it on, stepping into her room.

Kora

She looked at Zeus and smiled up at her father- "She's worth it- you'll see soon enough." she looked at Hades as she answered. "It's not a mistake...it's fate." she smiled at Zeus before he disappeared.
She ignored his outstretched hand to help her into the boat and climbed in herself. She put space between them and let the air frost with her silence. Ignoring his apology.
"You placed your hands on me in anger...it was unappreciated." she sat and then turned away from him.
"I'll be in the palace? With you...?" that was actually unexpected and had her turning back too look into his blue eyes- searching for the answers that she needed.
Was she really meant to fall in love with him?
Was this God supposed to be her husband?

And then she felt Acacia pulling her away. And she sent a projection of herself to the mortal realm.
Only Acacia would be able to see her- as Kora had been the one to bless her they shared a connection.

She smiled as Acacia walked into her open room- Kora was lounging on the bed.
"I couldn't have told you- and furthermore I don't understand how you never noticed the resemblance between my statue and my mortal form? That's all on you Acacia. You could have seen the truth had you looked."

Ares

God he had to admire her determination, he bowed his head in agreement to her requests and then he disappeared to go back to Mt. Olympus to convey with the other Gods.
To discuss the event that had just taken place.
Spring was gone- at her own volition.
Demeter was going to lose her mind.
And that could present problems on top of other problems.
God- he really was going to enjoy all that was going to happen.
He arrived at Olympus at the same time as Zeus came back, he bowed his head at his father.
"Thank you for allowing Kora to replace Acacia."

Hades

Hades nodded to her, “there is only one place to stay here, my palace.” He said before he turned away from her stretching his arms out to show his kingdom. “Be mindful of Cerebus... he...gets a little two excited for guest.” Hades spoke again as they docked. He stepped off the boat and paid Charion, before reaching over to lift Kora from the boat. “Pardon me, I do hate mud.” He said looking at the mud under his feet. He lifted her with such ease and grace, helping her up to the main walk way, keeping her out of the mud. He then stepped up with her, holding his hand out in a motion for her to lead. “She’s not much but she is home.”

He followed near her, his hands crossed behind his back as he walked. He kept his distance from her as they walked. As they stepped to the castle the doors opened for them, allowing them into the castle. “I shall be in my study if you need.” Hades voice filled around her as he began to walk up the stairs.

Acacia

Acacia jumped when she heard Kora’s voice. Her hand went to her chest, “Gods, you scared me.” She said before she sat down at her vanity, pulling her brush out to tame her wet and wild hair. “Listen your the pretty one, I’m the warrior.” She laughed softly as she brushed her hair. Acacia paused for a moment as she looked in the mirror, flashes of the last war came to her mind. At just 14 she was out there by her fathers side... battling with him til his last breath. Her breath caught in her throat and she stood suddenly, placing her hands down on her vanity. Images of her father being slayed before her filled her mind, and rage filled her heart. It had been 6 years since that day, and now it was time for her to kill the man who killed her father.

“Romulus! Put our friends head on my spear... then send it to our enemies. I’d like to thank them.” She said to the male who had stepped in the room. He nodded to her before leaving to do as she asked. Acacia quickly wiped the tears from her eyes before she moved to Kora, sitting next to her on the bed. “You could have at least told me about Ares... like at least told me I would see him In person.” She fake pouted at her friend. “Are the gods going to join us for the festival?” She asked knowing she needed to get ready. For now war could wait, tonight was the eve of All Hollows, no one fought on this day, for fear they may anger the gods.

Zeus

Zeus looked up at his son as they appeared back in Olympus. "Don't thank me. It was meant to happen. As I told your sister Acacia better be worth it. There is a lot riding on this War, many of the gods have already chosen sides." Zeus spoke as he looked to the God of War as they walked and talked. Soon enough they stepped into the main room, Zeus flicked his hand over a cloud and suddenly all the Gods around him were looking down at Polis, seeing them set up for their festival. "If anyone would like to join them you have my permission. Only last night of fun wouldn't hurt." Zeus had already his eyes on a Young filly of a girl, a wicked smirk appeared on his lips before he turned to look at the other gods.

Kora

"The gods may yes- I will not be. For the time being I am tied to the underworld as I am tied to Hades. I chose my fate Acacia." she said softly as she looked out the window, seeing the soft breeze gently sway the plant life around them, the smell of fresh water against the Earth. And her heart was pained.
"I couldn't tell you- influence your thoughts and actions? No- the Fates would have intervened my friend." again she looked at Acacia and smiled, "I must return, but know that at any point you may summon me and I will appear to you. Only you'll be able to see me and hear me, so make sure that you are alone or understand that you'll look like you've been cursed with madness. You are strong Acacia, and Ares will help you in ways you can not fathom, so trust in him as you once trusted in me. He will be a friend in the upcoming battles, do well to not anger him." and with that she was gone, whisked back to her physical form...to Hades.

Kora looked up at the place he called home and was taken away at the dark beauty of it, "It's magnificent m'lord." her voice was soft she kept her distance from him, shielding herself from the chill in the dark air. And then she saw her, Minthe the nymph that Hades was currently seeing. God she actually hated that she even knew that knowledge. "I wouldn't want to disturb you in the study m'lord." her voice was icy as she studied Minthe, she had disturbed every party that she and Hades were ever invited to Olympus for or she refused to come up and Hades would end up in the most horrendous moods. That's why she had never introduced herself to him- never made herself known until the villa when she had seen the want in his eyes. Had felt the attraction. And now...once again she felt her heart pinch tightly. She turned quickly and breezed away from the beautiful nymph and the God that didn't deserve her- but her thoughts rang loud in her head, You choose your fate. You made the choice. It was fate.

But were the Fates wrong? Had her course changed?

Ares

He looked down and saw Acacia- her spirit flared out in bright oranges and reds, dancing like flames, and he felt his attraction for the woman grow. Of course he would join them- he had chosen his side, when he had chosen the woman.
He smirked as her felt the other gods tense- the war was one for the ages, kings against kings in the race for land, control and to diminish the peoples faith in certain gods, and wanted to foster more faith for different ones.
He had to chuckle as normally he would be rebelling against his father, but for once they were fighting on the same side. Ironic.
He felt himself fall back down through the clouds to land gently on the ground outside of the Villa, he could still smell the scent of spring and the blood that had been spilled and his gut tightened.
"To offend the gods..." he muttered as he walked in, his human form back in place. Only Acacia knew who he was- and it would stay that way.

Acacia

Acacia gave a faint smile and a sad sigh as her best friend disappeared, back to the underworld. The young girl stood from her bed as her right hand maiden walked in, letting her know it was time for her to be dressed. Acacia was painted, head to toe, in gold and red, her black hair was let all the way down, dressed up with braids and gold pieces. The paint told a story on her body, red in the hollows or shadow sides of her body, the gold brightening and highlighting other areas. Her dress was gold, short, built just for her body. She stepped out to her men that had been training below. They all stood in line, some painted Red, others painted gold. "I know that war is on the horizon, but tonight, let us dance and party to the gods." She spoke to them before her eyes moved to her whip master, he had brought out her large Chakram (Circle Blade). The ends of her blade were laced with spark rocks. They were able to put on the fieriest show the town would see.

Acacia took her spot on the Circle blade, balancing on it as she was carried into the town. Her men chanted as they walked down to the towns square. Many had gathered around to watch the opening of the games. Music began to play, only the large fire lit their space. Acacia flipped off her blade, catching it before her feet hit the ground, turning her back flip into a cartwheel. The multi-trained girl smirked as she landed her move, her father wanted a warrior, her mother a princess. So she was both.

As the music began to pick up so did her dance. Her body moved rhythmically, swaying about, her blade following the movements. She moved the Chakram like a hula hoop around her body, spinning it this way and that. Her eyes moved around the crowd, making sure that her people weren't to close for what was gonna happen next. She hooped the blade around her neck then up her arms and into her hands. As it routed around her hands she moved its tilt, slowly lowering it to the ground, keeping it from fully hitting the ground. After two full rotates she launched it up. While everyone watched the blade fly up she grabbed a mouth full of wine and a torch, breathing fire like a dragon as it came down. The blade came close to hitting the ground fully, but before it did she caught it. She tossed the torch back to the fire before her, gripping the handles of her blade before going back to her dance.

After a few minutes her dance was over. She ended gracefully, balanced on her blade. The towns people cheered and smiled at her, "Let the Festival.... BEGIN!" Acacia called out. People all around the town began to light up the torches, music played from all over and food was being served. Acacia stayed bent at the knee, resting in the hollowed part of her chakram. She swallowed hard, she couldn't stand yet, her knee throbbed deeply, she had landed wrong but played it off. She panted softly, forcing herself to stand. As she placed her leg down it buckled, causing her to fall forward, though before she fell she was caught, a larger hand caught hers, pulling her into a gentle embrace.

Hades

Hades looked up as the nymph he once called Lover appeared. He let out a soft sigh, continuing up the stairs to his study, he opened the door and looked to Minthe, motioning for her to enter the study. Hades was annoyed, that much was very clear. With a flick of his fingers he had a glass of wine in his hand, a book in the other. The fates had stay true for now to what he was told. His eyes looked back to Minthe, "I thought I told you to not come around anymore." His words were a little harsh. He had loved the woman before him at one point. Until the Fates told him of Persephone. It was true what they had said.

/One, warm as spring
Two, shaded with love of another
Three, torn by fate
Four, forced to darkness
Five, fear to love due to the past
Six, fallen/

He remembered what they had said to him, each something that had to do with them, the meaning behind them was a mystery to him for the most part. He knew the first one, it was from the first time he ever saw her. Hades had fallen in love with a human, one who rejected him harshly. he wasn't Zeus, he wasn't a real god, the woman had told him. So back to the underworld he had gone. As he had traveled back to his boat his eyes caught the sight of the younger god, doing her duties of bringing in the spring. He must have stood there in the shadows watching her a few minutes, but it felt like years to him. His icy soul felt warm in her presence.

He snapped back to the task at hand, eyes still looking at the Nymph before him. Minthe was lovely that was for sure, but she paled in comparison to Persephone. The last they had seen each other he told her that they would need to end what they had. The fates wanted him and Persephone together, and he was not one to anger the fates.

((If you want me to post as Minthe as well lemme know and ill fix my post. also, left acacias open to either be Ares, or Mr. Steal ya girl. Up to you, ill have fun either way. Twisted Evil ))

Minthe

She slid gracefully slid into Hades lap, her dark chocolate hair fell around her face down to brush where his hands automatically slid to her hips to hold her, her dark deep chocolate eyes searched the icy blue ones for the warmth she craved from him. When she didn't see it she felt her hate for the woman named Kora grow even more and she focused on ruining any chance of a relationship that may grow between Hades and the spring goddess. The fates changed all the time. She knew this one could change as well.

"You can't be serious my love..." she purred as she slowly ground her hips against his, feeling his instant reaction to her. "I'm the only one who can see your dark soul and love it." her lips pressed against his neck, right where the heart beat softly under his cold skin, her hands slipping down his rock hard body.

Kora

While Kora ignored the tight feelings in her stomach- she had to live under the same roof as her and him. Gods what had she gotten herself into. She moved down the hallways and without knowing her grief spilled out in magical waves, her hair grew instantly down past her feet and down the hallway as she walked, her tears fell down her face silently.
She stepped out onto a terrace and looked up at the sky- the souls that danced around in the space of stars. it was all so...sad...so somber. It permeated the air which only intesified her grief.
It may have been fate, but she loved the mortal realm- she loved being the goddess of spring, she loved everything that world had to offer. And she had given it all up for Acacia. For him.

A soft wail escaped her as she sob uncontrollably now, sinking down to her knees with her head in her hands.
Oh how her mother would miss her.

What had she done.

Her magic was now flowing so freely and was so finely tuned to her emotions the plant life all started to react, beautiful night flowers shriveled up and dried out, dropping as all the bright color was removed, and more died as her grief grew. Unknown to her the Underworld shifted as plant life responded to her pain. A shift had taken place and had Kora noticed she would have rolled back her powers, restored the balance that she was there to create.
But her grief overwhelmed her.

Minthe

While she was focused on the man in front of her she felt a change in the air and she glanced up and saw the flowers that grew in through the window become drained of color and life she noticed, "You're precious night flowers are dying." a sly smirk was on her lips as she thought about how much she hated them to begin with. They made her skin itchy and Hades loved the color and brightness of them. They could take on any color of the people that were around them, but they remained white depending on the emotions around them.
She shifted in his lap and looked down at him as she lowered her head to kiss him again.

Ares

He watched the fire dance of the skin that Acacia showed and felt his manhood respond and he had to grimace as he watched the other males show their appreciation.
The woman was made for him.
She breathed like a dragon and he smirked at her commanding presence she was captivating. He started to move through the crowd to reach her and he felt more gods and goddess come down- they were all mingling down on the mortal plan and loved nights were the mortals celebrated. The wine flowed freely and the woman were looser in their morals. But not the one he sought.

He reached out and snagged her around her waist, dragging her up against him as they the music started and the single men and woman came out to dance in the sensual ritual to find a husband or wife.
"Care for a dance?" he dropped his mouth right next to her ear as he spoke softly, his teeth gently grabbed at her ear lobe.

When Gods are Amoung Men. Empty Re: When Gods are Amoung Men.

Hades

Hades exhaled deeply as Minthe slid into his lap, he naturally pulled her closer, almost out of habit. He turned his head from her and took a drink of his wine. Her words angered him. His body reacted more than his mind did. The closer she pressed her body the more he could feel his resistance slipping. It wasn't until she mentioned the flowers that he looked away from her. When he saw them drain of life he knew that meant Kora's powers were at work. He took in a deep breath, as he released his breath smoke bellowed around them.

Suddenly they were both shifted, he had Minthe pressed against his bookshelf, his hand wrapped around her throat, squeezing just enough to steal her breath. "Let me make myself clear Nymph, You are not welcome, not in my Kingdom, and not in my bed." He growled, he looked her up and down one last time before he moved away from her, walking away, not looking back. He walked down the steps, tucking his hands away, he could feel her, therefore he knew just were she was.

Smoke filled the space in front of her, Hades appeared, bent at the knee, looking down at her. He reached forward, "You know, killing my favorite flowers with a touch is kinda my thing." He said reaching up to pluck a flower from a vine. The second his skin connected to the plant it turned to dust, falling to the ground. "I know this isn't something you wanted, your love for that mortal is something else. I planned on going back for the festival, that fruit bread was divine, care to join me?"

He was trying, trying to be nice and welcoming. When your the only god down in the underworld you forget how to be that way. His blue eyes looked at her, waiting for her response.

Acacia

Acacia was caught off guard by the male that grabbed her and pulled her to him. She quickly changed feet, standing on her left while keeping her right slightly off the ground. Her face quickly lit up when she heard his voice. "Ares.." his name rolled off her tongue ever so faintly. A shiver ran down her spine as he nipped at her ear. She was in heaven, the way their bodies just fit. Her small frame was incased in his, she tilted her head back and looked up at him, nodding faintly to his question. No matter the pain she felt in her knee she wouldn't give up the chance to dance with the one male that had her heart and soul.

The girl was freaking out in her head as they swayed about to the music, she had so many questions she wanted to ask him, but she couldn't bring herself to say anything. She glanced away for a moment catching the glances people were giving them, it was rare for her to take on a potential suitor. Her expression changed slight, going back to the spit fire she was. "What should I call you Solider?" She asked him, knowing very well that she couldn't just call him Ares out in front of all the townspeople.

Minthe

Her eyes widened in fear as he held her up by her throat, when he dropped her she crumpled to her knees and took in a deep breath before speaking with a shaky tenor, "And what? The virgin is good enough to be with the Dark One?" she scoffed as she disappeared in cloud of smoke.
To nurse her anger, and to come up with a plan to get rid of the goddess standing in her way.

Kora

She looked up at the man with tears streaming down her face, and her emerald green eyes flecked with specks of gold streaks flashed with hurt as she looked at the dead flower fly away on the breeze. She heard him speak-- but for a moment she couldn't comprehend what was going on. Just the dead flower drifting away.
"Did I do that..." her voice was soft and delicate as she crawled forward to look at the flowers laying in disarray down in the gardens, souls moaned up in confusion and she felt her heart break at the sound. She reached out and touched Hades hand, and she sensed all the damage she had done.

"It just hit me how much it was to give up...and I didn't see the beauty that is around me..." her voice was still soft as she let her magic go the way it was supposed too and the flowers started to sprout in the dirt again, a fresh scent filled the air light it had freshly rained. She shifted her head and felt the full weight of the hair that had grown and looked behind her with wide eyes, "Oh no..." dropped from her lips as she once again looked at the god before her- hearing his statement play over again in her head...

"Acacia is what mortals strive to be- and she...she has the glow about her soul that draws you in. She is a true friend and believer of the gods." and then she heard the comment about the bread... "I baked that this morning with the villa baker- the fruits came from my personal garden on Olympus- it has a small amount of ambrosia, I knew gods were coming down...I wanted it to be enjoyable." She realized that she had never taken her hand back from his and felt the warmth that was flowing from their joined hands. She quickly snatched her hand away and got up, she gathered up as much hair as she could and then looked at Hades, "I'd love to go- but I need a pair of scissors and a glass surface." she loved long hair...but this...this was beyond what she could deal with even as a goddess, she disappeared with a puff of smoke and came back in less then two seconds, her hair cut down to her mid back, and in a pale pink dress robes, gold bands decorated her arms and her hair was held back with a thin tiara of golden leaves. Her face cleaned of the tears of grief and then she took his hand again and they disappeared with a trail of smoke in their wake. When they arrived she found that they were standing in the dancing circle- and she heard the music and a fire lit up in her, as the air around her changed and was charged full of spring and rebirth and...warmth. "Dance of Lovers m'lord- I'm going to try my chances- see if a mortal man peeks my interest." she said coyly as she stepped away from Hades and fell into the steps with ease and gracefulness, men and woman could see the pure joy and light radiate from her as she moved from move to move. When her and Ares danced the laughter was light and caused people to turn, but everyone noticed that each partner Ares and Kora had, only one held their eyes.

And Kora couldn't help it- Hades, he was captivating. He had been nice to her- he...had felt her grief and had come to offer comfort- he brought her here. This god was the only man she had ever felt attraction for. Had ever been interested in. Even before the fates told her.
She couldn't help but try and flirt with him- make him want her.

Ares

He watched her with fire burning in his eyes as they both stepped into positions, this dance was a quick stepped dance and required one to switch partners until a certain point and then it became a sexual dance if you partnered with the one that you wanted. And on this day- every partner was blessed by the gods to be with the one they desired- as a reward for hosting them in the mortal plane.

He had felt her shiver in his arms and he had to adjust his robe to hide his desire of her quickly and without revealing what he was doing. She was fire and gorgeous fire at that.
He winked at her as the fast paced music started and he felt the presence of two other gods join- interesting he thought as he felt the smell of spring and death on the air. But he focused on Acacia- his eyes never leaving hers or her body.

He could sense the pain coming from her, and the fact that she was pushing through it, managing it, controlling it, impressed him to a degree that no other mortal woman had ever accomplished. And he wanted to know her, and know more of her then just her body.
He wanted everything that she could offer.

And he accepted that want.
With a mortal it only came once in a lifetime- and he would make this the best time of her life on this plane. They switched partners but still, his eyes stayed on her as they moved around. Even when the dance led him to Kora- they shared a smile, and danced with joy, but even then, he would watch her swirl around with the other men their gazes locked with one another. He smiled as the changed partners again- the song had two more switches and then the display would change, the lights would dim, and the couples would move closer and closer together- he enjoyed it as it was a form of sexual foreplay. And he aimed to drive Acacia crazy- because just her dancing was...prompting the urge to pick her up and run away with her.

Gods he had to get under-control- he shook his head and caught a glimpse of Hades- and saw the same determination in his eyes for Kora that Ares knew shown in his for Acacia.

Hades

Hades chuckled softly as she stood quickly before disappearing. In the time it took him to stand she was back, looking just as lovely as the day he first saw her. With a flash they were back to the Town of Polis, dancing with the mortals before them. Hades kept the faintest of smiles on his lips as he danced with the girls that had switched to be his partner, even though he danced with another his eyes were set on her. He saw the flirtiness in her actions, and he decided to play along. As he danced with the other women, he allowed his hands to gently slid about their bodies, getting closer and closer to them as he did so.

With the next switch he was with Acacia, the two of them danced closely, he, like any of the other gods could sense her pain, as a way to assist her he lifted her up by her waist. Twirling her around as he did so, before she was caught up by other man, the second to last switch. He was one away from her, the next switch and she would be locked to dance with him. He locked eyes with her once more, giving her a smirk and a raised eyebrow. Then it was time, the last switch, with a few quick and graceful dance movements the four of them were with who they wanted to be. Hades caught Kora's hand, twirling her close to him, one arm over her, holding her close, the other resting against her hip.

"Is this your way of tempting me?" He teased, sliding his hand down her leg ever so slightly before he spun her around to where they were facing. Hades remained respectful of her, to a degree, his hand rested against her lower back, inches from her bottom, while the other held hers against his chest, pulling them close. He craved her, he could feel his body heating up just like the day he had first lay eyes on her.

Acacia

Acacia let out a soft laughter of bliss. All the pain she had faced today, washed off of her. She danced with each partner, allowing them to get as closer to her as they wanted. She showed off a little, just when she could feel Ares watching her. As much as the men enjoyed the dance with her, the passed her around with each switch. As she was moved to the next male she noticed it was Hades, a bright smile filled her lips. Her dress caught in the light, along with the gold paint on her body. With such ease Hades lifted her in the air, twirling her about, she decided to show off a bit, and as she was passed to the next male.

The last male she danced with had taken her from Hades while she was still in the air. He moved her to his shoulder before sliding her down his body. When her feet touched the ground she kept falling back, arms stretched out fliping to a back bend. The male lowered himself with her, ever so fainting running his lips over her body. When he pulled away she flipped over, cartwheeling to her Chakram, kicking the circle blade around her ankle, rolling it up her body to her hands. She showed off a few moves, launching the blade in the air once move before she twirled right into Ares arms.

Her left arm wrapped around his shoulders and neck, allowing her to pull herself close to him. She allowed ever inch of her body to press against his that could, standing on tippy toes to keep there bodies close. Her right hand was still held out for a moment, catching the flaming wheel from the air, letting it get stuck in the ground as the flames faded out.

Suddenly the four of them were encased in darkness. Acacia moved her right arm around Ares' neck, pulling herself closer to him. Her ocean blue eyes looked at him. Then she did something so out of character. With their faces being so close together she leaned even closer, allowing their lips to connect for the briefest of seconds. Acacia kissed the man of her dreams ever so softly, closing her eyes as they began to relight their surroundings.

Kora

She could see how he was flirting with the other girls, how close he was getting, but she kept her temper, she could feel his gaze on her- following each of her movements, watching her closely.
Then she was in his arms, every where they touched she felt fire explode out. The air around them warmed up and spring filled the air. Fresh flowers blooming, and a light scent of rain on the air.
"Is this your way of tempting me?" a soft smile played on her full lips as she adjusted with the fire being dimmed down making his hand fall to grasping her ass gently, "Can you be tempted m'lord?" she asked softly as her lips skimmed right below his ear as they started to move to the beats of the drums.
The beats turned to a more primal and fast beat and their bodies fell into that rythem, as the other couples fell out of step and fell into the crowd to watch the other couples it ended up whittling down to the the two that the sparks could almost been seen sparking off of them as they danced together.
Her violet eyes danced with joy and heat as she and Hades completed the dance and the ritual. When they fell into the last step, Kora's leg was on Hades shoulder and her body was pressed firmly against his. Her breath came in fast as she looked into his eyes and got lost in the pure blue she saw, and then her lips were against his. And she could taste the faintest taste of chocolate and a small moan escaped her lips as the kiss changed from soft to demanding and hard as he automatically shifted to kiss her deeper. And as the kiss happened all the fire that was lit in Polis flared up over ten feet and shown so brightly- the gods blessing the two couples. But she didn't notice.

Had she been more aware, had thought more about the commonsenses of this display in front of gods and mortals she would have stepped back- she would have asked to return to the Underworld, to take space.
He was with someone, he was in love with someone else.
She was to remain a virgin even with the fates- she had made a vow to her mother.
Well...her mother forced her into it, but she had still made it.

And had she thought- about Minthe and Demeter two seconds before her lips touched Hades- she would have realized that those eyes were on her right now. Both plotting to get her away from the man she was intertwined with but for different reasons.

Minthe

She saw him.
She saw the way he looked at the whore.
She saw the way their bodies moved together as if they were made for each other.
She. Saw.
And anger burned inside of her.
Ate away at anything that was good.
Aphrodite- help me win this man back- get this trollop out of the way. I'll help you in anyway if you help me get rid of her. the prayer was fervent as she watched them kiss. Watched that bitch with the man she loved.

Ares

Her lips touched his- and he lost it.
He immideatly pulled her closer and started to move to the beating of the drums as he deepened the kiss. Showed her just what she had opened up, showed her exactly how much he wanted her as he pushed his manhood against her groin as they moved.
He bit the bottom of her lip and when her mouth opened on a soft, so soft moan, he pushed his tongue in and dominated her senses.
Heat poured off of him and his feelings for her grew at her fearless choice to kiss him.
And then the dance ended.
And he pulled away from her to see the only two couples left where them and Kora and Hades and then he watched the fire flare up- and he knew that they both had recieved a blessing from all the gods, and he knew that this was right. His head dipped again to kiss her but as he did his eyes caught sight of Demeter moving quickly towards Kora and Hades- he saw the look of betrayal, of hurt and pain, and anger- gods so much anger was being carried by the goddess. And then he saw all the mortals but the one in his arms froze in place.
"Do not let go of me my love or you'll become frozen." he whispered softly as he pushed her behind his back.
The only time gods would freeze the mortals is when they didn't want to be reveled- he took stock of the situation but in seconds everything changed so very quickly.

Demeter

Her daughter- her daughter was behaving in ways that could not go unpunished.
Anger flared up as she watched her with the mortals- dancing, flirting, and then...gods the kiss? And then the Gods had the nerve to bless her and the man she was with? No.
Demeter pushed mortals out of her way- froze the crowd and moved towards Kora. One intent on her mind. To punish and to take her away.
And by Gods her mother would do both.
Before she knew exactly what she was doing, her hands where in Kora's hair, yanking her down to the ground- she heard Kora scream but still she was too enraged and used her magic to silence her voice.
And then she started to drag her daughter by her hair as she released the magic on the crowd so that she could make a quick and easy getaway. Her daughter was kicking and trying to pull her grip away from her hair, but Demeter buckled down and pulled her along by her long hair until they got into the shadow of the forest and then they were gone.
The only person to see them disappear was Minthe who stood in the shadows of the forest trees.
"You gave your vow. And you just tossed everything in my face."
Demeter raged as they landed in her private villa.
Kora's color was already changing from that of a warm and live person to one of an ashy sickness, and pain exploded from where Demeter had gripped and pulled her hair. She was covered in scrapes from being dragged and blood was pushing out from the wounds. But still she couldn't talk.
"You are a disgrace, a whore, I should keep you locked up for a lifetime for that display daughter."

Hades

They should have never came, he should have never tried to show her his good side, they should have stayed in the underworld where they were safe. Where he could hide. Just has he had melted into the kiss, and began to pull her closer to him she was ripped from his arms. "Kora!" He yelled her other name, losing where she was. Suddenly all the mortals around them where frozen, all of the gods where now around them, their real forms being reveled. He looked to Zeus, "What is going on. Zeus we have to find her." Urgency filled his voice, along with panic. He could already feel it, she was starting to die, which meant they were far away.

His blue eyes flicked over to the female who lurked in the woods, which a flick of his hand smoke bellowed out from under his robs, quickly dashing out to the female he looked at, wrapping around her and pulling her to him. "Where is she Minthe." He growled, allowing the smoke to tighten around her. "Where would she have been taken..." He spoke once more, before his eyes looked up to Acacia, the young mortal had called out to him.

Acacia

Everything had happened so fast, so fast it made her dizzy. She had kissed Ares ever so faintly, and before she could even pull away he had her. His large frame encased her smaller frame, she felt him press against her, causing her face to light up before she reacted as well. At least for now she would give in, she would be just the slightest bit selfish. She kept her right leg down staying on her toes, her left leg began to slide up his body, wrapping around his hip, pulling them closer. Before she could enjoy much more she was pulled away and behind him. Her blue eyes looked up, nodding at his order not to let go.

Acacia gripped Ares hand, placing her free on on his arm. She was frozen, not because of the magic, but the sudden fear that washed over her body as she watched Kora get taken away, and then seeing all the Gods. Acacia felt as if she might faint. This was far to much. She kept quiet as the Gods talked. Hades asked Minthe where she was, if the nymph was behind it than someone close to Kora was as well. Acacia stepped forward, still keeping her hands on Ares. "Her villa, Kora has a secret place, somewhere just for her." Acacia paused trying to think, her eyes then looked to Hades, "She said that the beauty is to much for the eye to handle."

Hades

Hades was gone in a poof, he know where that was. He knew it better then any God. His heart raced as he appeared just outside of her villa. He wanted to step forward, wanted to go get her. But he knew his magic, it would kill all the plant life around him. He looked over at Zeus as his brother appeared. "What am I to do brother, shes in there, dying, and I'm out here worried about her garden..."

Zeus chuckled, "you go get her." he said, pushing his brother forward with him. As the two males entered the room Hades moved over to Kora, kneeling before her, his hand gently brushing against her cheek.

Acacia

Acacia let out a deep breath as Hades disappeared with Zeus. She turned to look at Ares, pausing when her eyes caught sight of Aphrodite, time began to move again, everyone was walking about now. She moved away from Ares, watching as Aphrodite walked up to Ares, pulling him in to a sloppy kiss. "There you are Baby..." She purred, pressing her body to his and kissing him again in front of the mortal trying to take him from her.

Minthe

His power choked her and stole the breath from her lungs- and for the second time the night she saw a side of Hades that she had never seen before. And it scared her. And all over the bitch Kora.
"I...don't...know..." she spat at him and then she was on the ground- once again gasping for air to fill her lungs.

Kora

She had for a moment propped herself up but then another wave of pain and nausea hit her she- in moments she was gagging up blood and had collapsed back on the floor, her eyes falling shut as she started to choke on her own blood. Pain engulfed her and she had to let it consume her.

Demeter

She watched in horror as Kora collapsed and blood poured out of her mouth.
“Persephone!” she fell to her daughters side as then both Zeus and Hades burst in.
“What’s going on? Why is this happening?” tears streamed down her face as she felt the power leave her daughter. Until the God of Death stepped into the room- and then there was a small sign of life. She saw the tender look in Hades eyes, the gentle stroke of her cheek. “You were the mortal she danced with.” she snapped out with a sneer.
“You’re the one that has turned my daughter into a common whore, what did you do rape her and put her under a spell? She’d never[]/i] want to be with someone like you...a [i]killer].”
At this Zeus stepped forward and the room filled with such immense power- “Demeter. Enough.” the villa shook with thunder as he put the lesser goddess into her place- his heart was torn in two seeing the golden liquid that was their blood that had spilled out of his daughter. The one that was always a bright spot in his life- for her heart was pure and sweet, and she was always so happy and bright. Anger tightened as he thought about what Demeter had done, what she had almost caused.

Kora

She felt him- his touch cool to her feverish skin. She was safe. She settled back down and let the remainder of the pain overtake her and pull her back down to an unconscious state. Hades was here that was all that mattered to her soul and for her life.

Ares

They watched everything unfold before then and Ares and Acacia stayed silent- he didn't want to draw any unneeded attention to the fact that Acacia was still watching all the Gods and Goddess now and that said gods and goddess had just blessed them as couple.
Yeah...he didn't want any more attention then was needed and then the Gods had to be working against him because the one person he did not want any attention from just came up and slobbered all over his face...right in front of Acacia.

If his world could get any worse...it would and did.

"Aphrodite.." he put his hands around her waist and pushed her away from him and Acacia. "Haven't seen you in... a millennia." his voice was curt as he backed up keeping Acacia behind him as he went.

Hades

Hades looked over his shoulder, his eyes went pitch black as Demeter said such cruel things to him. Before he could even say anything Zeus stepped in, defending his brother for a moment. Hades looked down at Kora, seeing the color appear back on her skin. He stood, dusting the dirt off of his robs. He turned and looked back at the lessar goddess, and suddenly the air around her was tight. "Remember who rules the Underworld Demeter, if you wanna see evil I'll show you evil." And with a clap of his hands both of them were gone, swiftly shifting back to the underworld.

Zeus sighed deeply as he looked to Demeter, "Try to watch yourself around him. It wasn't Hades choice for her to join him. She chose to save the life of a mortal. A great friend of hers..." He said, pausing after he said it, remembering that Demeter hadn't been told the truth yet.

Hades gently carried Kora to her bedroom, laying her down gently on her bed. "I'm truly sorry.." He said softly before he left her to sleep. Hades walked down the stairs, a somber expression on his face. "M'lord, is something wrong?" a gentle voice caught his attention, he looked up, his blue eyes meeting that of a child's. Iridis, his adopted child. She was a young nymph, one of the few to be able to enter the river styx. After he mother had been killed and her blinded, he decided to take her in. The male walked over to the child and gently stroked her hair. "I'm fine my dear. Care to join me while i feed cerberus?" he asked before he picked her up and carried her out of the castle to their giant watch dog.

Acacia

Acacia stared at Aphrodite for a minute, no wonder the Gods fought over her. Her hair was made of pure gold, and she had the body to fit any mans dreams. The mortal girl slowly began to back away, not noticing that Ares had pushed her away from him. She turned quickly as she noticed Aphrodite whine and move closer to him again, smirking when Acacia ran off. "To bad your little pet couldn't join us, isn't been so long having another person would be nice...." The blonde purred as she pressed herself closer to Ares, reaching between them, gripping the hard on he had. "Seems like your in the mood as well."

Acacia had panicked, and when she did she ran, or in this case tried to walk quickly away from what was going on. She grabbed her long hair, pulling it from her face before she quickly stepped into one of their bath houses. Acacia quickly wiped the paint from her body, most of it smeared from the dance, before she changed into a more flowy and relaxed dress. Her mind raced as she did so, she had been selfish, and now she feared she had upset the Goddess of Love.

Before she knew it Acacia was standing at her favorite spot. She looked at the broken down pillars, slipping her shoes off and tying up her dress before she climb up on them, sitting on one to just look up at the sky. "You're just a silly girl Acacia...." She mumbled to herself. Her dress kicked in the wind as she untied it, bringing one leg to her chest.
